1. Clean the damaged metal surface to remove paint, rust, or grease.
2. Connect the ground cable firmly to the workpiece.
3. Select the appropriate tool (washer, electrode, or pulling accessory).
4. Adjust power and timing using the reference table on the machine.
5. Place the gun tip on the dent area and press the trigger to weld.
6. Attach the slide hammer or pulling tool and gently pull the dent outward.
7. Repeat the process as needed until the surface is restored.
8. Finish by grinding or smoothing the repaired area.
