The welding power sources of the I-ARC 200 line offer a high duty cycle while being compact and easy to handle. They are the ideal choice for maintenance and small workshop jobs. A reliable and durable product, designed and manufactured with care at our San Marino factories.
The I-ARC 217 GEN delivers 170 Amps in direct current for welding electrodes from 1.6 to 4.0 mm in diameter. Welds with rutile and basic coated electrodes on various metals: steel, stainless steel, cast iron, etc.
With the special torch it allows you to weld in TIG mode with scratch arc ignition.
The I-ARC 217 GEN is equipped with special input protections that allow for adequate welding performance even in case of non-optimal power supply. This feature is particularly useful for those who often work by connecting to motorcycle generators (see the characteristics table).
The I-ARC 217 GEN is easy to use thanks to the welding aid systems:
Hot Start: facilitates arc striking.
Arc Force:helps prevent electrode sticking to workpiece by temporarily increasing the current when the electric arc becomes too short.
Anti-sticking: allows you to easily detach the electrode if it remains glued to the piece.
